The Ontario College of Family Physicians through its Practicing Well Program offers various levels of support.
As a peer learner, Peer to Peer Connect: you can partner with another family physician to share experiences and best practices. Peer Learners can sign up here and earn up to 36 certified Mainpro+® credits as they advance their clinical and practice goals with the guidance and support of a colleague. Goals may be short-term, and achieved over a few months, or longer term. Once a goal has been achieved, Learners may decide to set another, or to focus engagement with the broader program through the Community of Practice and Information Exchange.
There is also a monthly community of practice that you can join to present cases and ask your questions and earn up to 12 certified Mainpro+® credits for your participation. Delivered by the OCFP in partnership with the Division of Mental Health and Addiction at the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto, the Practising Well Community of Practice is anchored by monthly virtual sessions, to create a safe space to engage in an intentional conversation with colleagues and support one another in your learning.
